AMD has confirmed Ryzen 7000 will launch this quarter

AMD’s CEO Dr. Lisa Su has confirmed that the Ryzen 7000 series will launch this quarter during AMD’s Q2 revenue call. She stated, “Looking ahead, we are on track to launch our all-new 5nm Ryzen 7000 desktop processors and AM5 platforms later this quarter, delivering industry-leading performance in gaming and content creation.”

The launch date was previously said to fall during “this fall”, but it has now been clarified that it has been reduced to exactly September. There are already rumors circulating that AMD will unveil the Ryzen 7000 series on September 15, with the actual launch later that same month.

This week AMD will also shed some more light on the X670E motherboard designs. The company’s Meet The Expert event has been organized especially for enthusiasts and professionals. During the event, representatives of major board partners will talk about the AMD 600 series motherboards for the Ryzen 7000 series.

Additionally, AMD’s CEO has also confirmed that the Radeon RX 7000 series will be launched later this year, meaning hopefully there will be no delays.
