Apex Legends turns into Dark Souls to show how strong the Rampage really is

To showcase just how powerful the Rampage LMG really is in Apex Legends, a player turned a confrontation with a Gibraltar with the weapon into a Dark Souls-style boss fight.

Apex is always on the move, with weapons constantly being polished and grained as time goes by.

Often it is only after players have complained about certain weapons for months before developers act. Which weapons are considered “balanced” usually varies from person to person.

However, many users seem to agree that the Rampage LMG is a bit OP at the moment, based on the reaction to a video that changes the face of the weapon into a Dark Souls boss fight.

what it feels like to fight the rampage: from apexlegends

On April 10, a video showing what it feels like to fight the Rampage quickly gained over 1000 upvotes on the Apex subreddit.

In it, King’s Canyon is turned into the world of Dark Souls, complete with loading screen and boss music as Revenant tries to take down a Rampage-wielding Gibby.

Like most Soulsborne boss fights on the first try, Gibraltar Revenant absolutely melts, who might have better luck using a gun as well, rather than his Heirloom.

Poor Revenant never had a chance.

From exploits to simply being more powerful than many other weapons, it’s not the first time players have complained about how OP the Rampage is in Apex.

Respawn developers already implemented an edit for the Rampage in Season 12 earlier in 2022, so whether or not it will get a new one as soon as possible remains to be seen. One thing is for sure though, many players think it is still one of the most powerful in the game.
