ASUS unveils ProArt Studiobook with 3D OLED display at CES 2023

This year, ASUS showcased many new and innovative solutions at CES 2023. Two of them were a maker-focused laptop with ASUS Spatial Vision technology for viewing projects in 3D and a fast 540Hz gaming display. The requirements for a new laptop for professional makers have expanded somewhat. One of these elements is a display with high accuracy, wide color gamut coverage, extensive connection choices and robust performance for demanding tasks. The brand new ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED, which debuted at CES 2023, matches everything on that list and has an extra trick.

ASUS’ Spatial Vision Tech enables game developers, 3D artists, animators, architects, product designers, visual FX artists and others to view their work in 3D on the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED. This innovative technology uses a specialized 3D OLED display and eye tracking technology to allow users to view their work in 3D without the need for complicated glasses. Using real-time eye-tracking technology, a series of photos are generated for each eye when the technology is enabled. The 3D appearance is then created by projecting these images directly through a small layer of lenticular lenses embedded in the display. When the 3D function is no longer needed, the user can easily switch to 2D mode.

With an Intel Core i9-13980HX CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED delivers professional performance. It can be set up with as much DDR5 RAM as 64 GB and fast PCIe 4 SSD storage up to 8 TB. We currently don’t have pricing and availability information for the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED, but we expect to review it in the coming months and will have more information then.
