Best STG44 Vanguard Gear

CoD Vanguard STG44 Gear

The STG44 is a well-rounded AR in Vanguard that can excel with the right build.

  • End of a loop: F8 Stabilizer
  • Walk: VDD 760MM 05B
  • Optics: slate reflector
  • Stock: VDD 27 Precision
  • underflow: M1941 Handstop
  • Magazine: 9MM 24 Rnd Fast Mags
  • Type of ammunition: extended
  • rear handle: dotted grip
  • Skill: sleight of hand
  • Package: Fully loaded

With 10 different attachment types to consider, figuring out where to start can be difficult. So for a comprehensive look at this build, let’s break down each STG44 attachment to understand how they help.

First comes the F8 Stabilizer together with the VDD 760MM 05B† Together, these provide improved accuracy and control, as well as a slight increase in damage. These are essential to make the STG44 exceptional at medium range. While some of these attachments can negatively impact handling and speed, the focus of this class is on effectiveness at a distance.

When it comes to choosing an optic, it depends purely on your personal preference. For this build we went with the slate reflector for something simple to avoid major drawbacks.

Stock removed

Removing the STG stock keeps you agile.

We then decided to run with the VDD 27 Precision stock to start combating the negative effects added thanks to previous attachments. With this equipment, your ADS speed and recoil will also be improved.

The M1941 Handstop underflow Also complements this STG build nicely, adding even more recoil control to keep your shots sharp.

Short round attachment

While the Short Round Mag does limit your clip, extra damage is just too important to ignore.

Things start to get crazy when it comes time to settle for a magazine. For this optimal STG equipment, we have opted for the .30 Russian Short 20 Round Mags to dramatically improve your damage. While it cuts your magazines down to just 20 bullets and even slightly affects your recoil, the positives certainly outweigh the negatives.

With this attachment you not only have more damage, but also faster reloads and above all an improved bullet speed. This means that your shots will land much faster than usual, allowing you to win almost any firefight.

Until that point, extended is a great ammo type to equip to further optimize bullet speed. With this AR configuration, you can connect to your recordings almost immediately.

dotted grip

Stippled Grip is one of the last STG attachments to unlock, but the grind is well worth it.

To round things off we have the dotted grip mounting for the rear handle of the STG44. Again, this helps improve recoil, but more importantly it helps with initial accuracy.

Last but not least, we have AR weapon perks. For Proficiency we went with sleight of hand to improve the reload speed of the STG44. This will help you win firefights as the time to kill is so fast in Vanguard.

Meanwhile for the Kit we have: Fully loaded so you don’t have to deal with ammunition shortages.

Best STG44 Vanguard Class: Perks, Gear & Field Upgrade

Vanguard Benefits

Ghost cannot be overlooked in any AR configuration.

  • advantage 1: Spirit
  • advantage 2: Radar
  • advantage 3: overkill
  • Subordinate: 1911 Pistol
  • Deadly: thermite grenade
  • Tactical: stim
  • Field Upgrade to death

For the rest of your STG44 gear, it’s crucial that you select the right perks, gear, and field upgrades to complement the deadly AR build.

When it comes to Perks, there are two obvious options that you just can’t overlook. Both Spirit and Radar are essentially must-picks in Vanguard, as they clearly outweigh any other pick in their respective categories.

Ghost keeps you from enemy minimaps when spy planes fly overhead, though you may want to take Ninja if you are a sneaky player who likes to flank and sneak up on unsuspecting enemies. Radar puts your minimap back to how it used to work in CoD. When enemies fire undamped weapons, you know exactly where they are.

For the latter benefit, this is more due to personal preference, but we ended up with overkill because Vanguard doesn’t allow strong secondary weapons like the Cold War did. So with Overkill you can apply another top weapon to your loadout if you run out of ammo for the STG or need a quick switch.

CoD Vanguard Beta Playlist Update: Blitz Team Deathmatch, Hotel Royal Removed

This STG setup allows you to focus on collecting kills without any distractions.

For equipment, the thermite grenade can do a ton of damage either as a ground device for enemies to bump into but if you can hold someone with one then game is over

likewise, stims to be a must pick to keep you alive and back to full health immediately after firefights. Not only that, but it also resets your Tac Sprint. to death is undeniably one of the strongest Field Upgrades in Vanguard and you can’t go wrong with this AR gear.

Vanguard Stim

Stim is a must-pick for any public mode in Vanguard.
