Have an odd number of teammates and want to play trios in Warzone 2? Well, currently you’re out of luck unless you’re playing a specific mode.

For many players, Warzone revolves around two modes – Solos and Quads – but that’s not the case for everyone. Some prefer to play duos with their partner in crime, while others are fans of Trios.

Over time, every type of mode has been available in the original Warzone, but not always at the same time – much to the chagrin of some players who see their favorite mode disappear for something else.

Well, with the launch of Warzone 2, these problems have increased again. Modes have started to switch off so that others have the place, which is annoying for players – especially those who want to play Threesomes.

Is Trios available in Warzone 2?

As it stands, you can only play solos, duos, and quads in regular battle royale mode, but trios are not available.

Currently you can only play Trios in third-person mode, but that causes headaches. Some players don’t want to use the third-person camera in battle royale, as much as they would like to in normal multiplayer modes.

You can of course play with a Trio in quads mode, but that creates an uneven lobby and also puts you at a disadvantage in some firefights. So while some players jump in and are a man down, others stay way off.

Warzone 2 still causes a lot of headaches, especially with playlists.

“They should always have a regular solo, duo, trio and quad available,” one exasperated fan on social media insisted. “Solo to quads should never be touched. Add the LTM on the side,” another agreed.

Playlists in Warzone are updated every Thursday, so Trios may return this time. We’ll have to keep an eye on it though, so check back for more.
