Canadian retailer lists AMD Ryzen 7950X, 7900X, 7700X and 7600X Zen4 processors

The official launch for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7000 series is still a month away, but we already ran into a Canadian retailer that has listed four Ryzen 7000 CPUs based on the Zen4 architecture. The leak only contains information about four SKUs and also confirmed one thing for us that the next series is definitely expensive, as has been speculated.

The Ryzen 9 7950X is the flagship model and is listed for 1141 CAD. The other models Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7700X and the Ryzen 5 7600X are priced at 778 CAD, 614 CAD and 424 CAD respectively.

However, this price is for those models that are without the cooler. These mentions were initially discovered by leaker @momomo_us who also mentions that these CPUs will also be sold on a tray by AMD, but so far there seems to be no sign of the boxed versions with coolers.

Of course, these are not the final prices for the Ryzen 7000 series. It is common practice for retailers to list new hardware with placeholder information. This is usually followed by distributors providing final and confirmed prices a few days before the official launch. For now, interested customers can pre-order the Ryzen 7000 CPUs through PC Canada.
