The latest news feed from Pro Hi-Tech mentions that their Chinese GPU supplier is expecting the first batch of the GeForce RTX 40 series within a month. We’re not sure if it’s a distributor or a direct seller, but this piece of information has confirmed that the card will be available in September.
We’ve all come across numerous rumors about the availability of the RTX 40 and the release date has been a bit of a debate, but this news comes as a breath of fresh air as it’s the first time a company has shipped the next-generation GPU.
Even the board partners haven’t said much about the deliveries of the RTX 40. There don’t seem to be any claims about a possibility of earlier availability either. Their focus is currently, and rightly so, only on the surplus of the GeForce RTX 30 cards.
Apart from that, this also seems to be a rumor and not even reliable. If anything, we’re still weeks away from any card shipment. Igor’sLAB recently stated that according to their RTX 40 launch schedule, mass production of the AD102 based card would begin sometime between August and September. This clearly means that the cards will be ready to ship in three weeks at the earliest.
