Core i9-13900K will be 11% faster than AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in gaming, according to Intel

According to the slides of “RUBY’s|RYZEN|RAYDEON RAGE 3D”, the Intel Core i9-13900K outperforms AMD’s new desktop flagship CPU.

The slides appear to have been rendered during Raptor Lake’s latest pre-launch event for the tech press and analysts, which is currently taking place around the world. It is unknown if these particular slides are embargoed, but they have not been published before. This is because the AMD Ryzen 7000 series was not yet available when Intel introduced its Raptor Lake series.

The Intel Core i9-13900K outperforms the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in gaming by 22%, according to this slide. Both CPUs are the flagships of the new desktop series. Intel processors will outperform AMD Zen4 processors on average by 11%.

Obviously these are Intel benchmarks with unknown hardware and approach (motherboard/memory). For additional information, the slides refer to the Intel website, which has not yet been updated. Intel’s 13th generation Core Raptor Lake series will be released tomorrow. Stay tuned for additional up-to-date information as the debut will be followed by multiple third-party reviews.
