EK, the manufacturer of high performance water cooling equipment, is expanding the Quantum Torque line of fittings with the introduction of 21mm and 28mm dual rotary offset adapter fittings. The EK-Quantum Torque Double Rotary Offsets are high performance male-female interconnects with G1/4″ ports offset by 21 or 28mm. The fittings are available in two offset sizes – 21 and 28 mm, and can rotate around two axes thanks to two swivel joints. They can be used to offset two parallel or perpendicular tubes and are best used on GPU and CPU waterblocks to align the tube directly with the distribution plate port. Aesthetically, they perfectly match the fittings and adapters of the EK-Quantum Torque series.
This double rotary offset series consists of 8 different models with different finishes and offset sizes. They are all CNC machined from brass with high quality NBR O-rings for sealing. Unlike EK’s previous Rotary Offsets for 7 and 14mm, these fittings consist of two parts and also have a rotating element in the middle. This allows them to not only shift the gate, but also change the angle. There are tactile clicks on every 45 degree turn to easily position the fitting as your build requires, but the offset can also be stopped and used at any angle.
The EK-Quantum Torque Double Rotary Offsets come in two different offset versions:
They can be tightened from the top with an Allen key for added convenience or in the event that the normal knurling is not accessible.
The fittings are quite useful for perfectly aligning hard tubes on a distro board when you want to achieve parallel piping from the GPU or CPU. Specifically designed according to the EK-Matrix7 standard, they complement the varying height of Vector² GPU water blocks and allow them to be perfectly guided with a flat lead in the distributor plate.
Typical of most adapters and offsets, they have a male G1/4″ thread, while also having a female G1/4″ port on the other end that you can use for other fittings or adapters and extensions. These fittings effectively replace the following three products: the 45 and 90 angle rotary knobs, and a 7 MF extension.
The available finishes include:
