Elon Musk announces that Apple has resumed advertising on Twitter

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced that Apple has resumed advertising on the platform. While Apple has not confirmed or denied that it has stopped advertising, Musk said at a Twitter Space event that the Cupertino-based company has “fully resumed advertising” a week after criticizing Apple for halting its advertising activities on Twitter .

Musk visited Apple Park on Wednesday and met CEO Tim Cook. He said the meeting went well and Apple has no plans to remove Twitter from the App Store.

In a post on Twitter, Musk also noted that Apple is currently the largest advertiser on the platform, highlighting the importance of the company’s decision to resume advertising.

Apple doesn’t disclose its ad spend, but a Washington Post report suggests the company spent about $131,000 on Twitter ads between November 10 and 16, up from $220,000 between October 16 and 22.
