The Pokemon Company has revealed the regional championship schedule for the 2022-2023 season, featuring events around the world. Here’s everything we know about the events, including venues, prize pool and more.
Over the years, The Pokemon Company has provided competitive players with a wide variety of sanctioned events, from small-town league tournaments to larger gatherings such as regional, international, and world championships.
Held at venues around the world, TPCi has released the regional championship schedules for the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America.
Here’s everything we know about the events so far.

Pokemon Regional Championship format for TCG, VGC and Go
For the 2023 regional championships, this is the format in which the matches will be played:
- Pokemon TCG will be played Standard format
- Pokemon VGC will be played on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
- pokemon go will use the Grand League
Pokemon Go Regional Championship Awards
While noting that it is subject to change, The Pokemon Company has revealed the prize tables for all three games.
- Pokemon TCG is offering up to $5,000 to the winner of the tournament
- Pokemon VGC is offering up to $3,000 to the winner of the tournament
- Pokemon Go is offering up to $3,000 to the winner of the tournament
Each game in the tournament can also award winners a certain number of Pokemon TCG packs, depending on the event organizer.
Pokemon Regional Championship Points
Playing an event sanctioned by The Pokemon Company, such as one of the Regional Championships listed above, will earn you a certain number of Championship Points, depending on the number of players in the tournament.
