Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is the next big update on the calendar, and while it’s still early, here’s a full rundown of everything we know so far.
Warzone Season 3 is now in effect with new map changes, weapons and even a monstrous event all steal the spotlight. But with every cycle in the CoD Battle Royale comes a hefty mid-season update.
It’s no different this time, as the Pacific chapter is heading for its third Reloaded patch. While the first of its kind focused on performance issues and the second honed on Rebirth Island, the third appears to be a well-rounded content drop.
From gameplay improvements to new features, there’s plenty we already know about the next big update. So here’s an early look at everything launching as part of the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded Patch.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: Release Date
While no exact date has yet been announced for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded, we can already make an informed guess.
Season 3 started on April 27. With the last Battle Pass expiring on June 27, it’s halfway there Wednesday 25 May† Given the usual cadence of mid-season patches, this is the most likely spot for Season 3 Reloaded.
However, as always, there is every chance that we will encounter delays along the way. We’ll be sure to keep you posted here with an official launch date as soon as the details become known.
First up with the Season 3 Reloaded Patch, we already know for sure that at least one new weapon will be added to the mix.
Follow-up of the M1916 Sniper Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle in the season 3 update, the Junkyard Jet Melee Weapon is locked in for the next big content drop.
As you would expect, this melee weapon functions exactly like the rest, albeit with a clear animation.
There’s currently no telling how this powerful addition will be unlocked, although it’s safe to use a melee-focused challenge after the Reloaded update.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: Audio and Camera Improvements
While audio enhancements were first introduced for the start of Season 3, we now know to expect them “later this season”. When exactly remains unclear, but for tweaks of this range, the Reloaded patch is a safe bet.
As discussed in the latest Raven blog post, both footstep sound and sliding camera lock improvements are in the pipeline. No details have yet been disclosed on how to improve these aspects, although we will certainly hear about that in the coming weeks.
While new gameplay features are yet to be confirmed for Season 3 Reloaded, early leaks suggest that a unique fast travel system is on the way.
Maybe take inspiration from the red doors which appeared on Verdansk not too long ago, Caldera could soon have a method to instantly rotate from one side of the map to the other.
It’s still early days, so it remains unclear how this might work, or how it fits into the game’s current storyline as monsters collide on the island. We’ll be sure to keep you updated here with further details as Season 3 Reloaded approaches.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: Familiar Gulag Layout
It’s been over four years since players clashed on USS Texas in Sledgehammer’s WWII release. Now it looks like this classic layout could make a return as part of Season 3 Reloaded.
While players have called for classic CoD cards to freshen things up in Vanguard’s rotation, USS Texas will reportedly be in Warzone.
Rather than a fixed POI on Caldera or Rebirth, this familiar layout will instead serve as the next Gulag, according to the prominent CoD leaker. The Spirit Of Hope†
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: New Serpentine Perk On The Way
Last but not least, a new Perk is officially on the way in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded. Ted Timmins of Raven Software confirmed the news in a interview with CharlieIntelto announce that Vanguard’s Serpentine Perk will be arriving in the BR.
The Serpentine Perk reduces incoming damage while sprinting. Not only does this addition appear as ground loot, but it can also be selected for a particular gear.
According to Timmins, this should serve as a direct counterpart to Snipers. “I think essentially it will be very healthy for Warzone to let players have that all-important counterplay,” he said.
