Warzone Pacific Season 3: Release Date
Warzone Pacific Season 3 is ready to launch on tuesday 26 april† This marks a full 10 weeks since the Season 2 Content Dropand five weeks since the Season 2 Reload Patchin line with the regular schedule.
It is currently not certain what time the Season 3 update will go live, nor how large the file size will be. We’ll keep you posted here as soon as more details are known.
Warzone Pacific Season 3: Caldera Map Changes
While we haven’t heard anything about new POIs joining Caldera in Season 3, we’re sure that existing areas will see several changes.
For the controversial Peak POI in particular, “really cool stuff” is planned, such as Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins teased earlier this month.
While no specific details were shared at the time, he confirmed that “the first real breakthroughs” in adjusting Caldera’s pace will take effect during Season 3. This could mean anything from subtle terrain changes to a drastic overhaul of the entire area.

We’ll have to wait and see what exactly comes of Peak in Season 3, along with all the other POIs currently under scrutiny.
Warzone Pacific Season 3: Sniper Nerfs
As always, a new season update means a major shake-up in the Warzone meta. Season 3 is no different, and while it’s still too early, we already know for sure that Snipers will be addressed in the upcoming patch.
“We are planning a meta-shift for Snipers in Season 3,” Timmins confirmed during a recent interview with the Baka Bros.
“I think we can all agree that it’s way too late,” he said. “The Sniper meta hasn’t changed to what feels like forever, so I feel really good about where we’re going with that.”
This indicates that there are several Sniper-specific nerfs in the pipeline right now. We’ll have to wait and see what they look like and how serious they are.
Warzone Pacific Season 3: Audio Enhancements
One of the first details we heard about the Warzone Season 3 update had to do with audio. Since Caldera came into the mix, players express their frustrations with the sound of the game.
Footstep audio in particular was a big problem. While Raven Software hasn’t confirmed any plans yet, CharlieIntel suggested in February that this issue will be fixed in Season 3.

“Adjustments to directional footstep audio in Warzone are currently planned for Season 3,” the account shared.

So it’s safe to expect some improvements, although there’s no telling whether this upgrade will be included on the first day or later in the next season.
Warzone Pacific Season 3: Early Leaks
Prior to any official announcements regarding Warzone Season 3, players started noticing certain details right in the game.
An early menu popup seems to be slipping through the cracks in various regions, teasing various new content for the upcoming season.
Based on a translation of the German promo above, we can clearly see that four new Prestige levels, a new assault rifle blueprint, and new seasonal challenges have all been locked in.
While a major overhaul of the Prestige system is indeed underway, it doesn’t appear to be ready yet. These new Prestige levels are more similar to Warzone’s current experience system.
With the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update only days away, new details are sure to emerge in the near future. Don’t worry, we’ll keep you up to date with the latest news here.
