EVGA may be the place to be if you’re looking for one of the best performing graphics cards right now. EVGA has slashed the GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 Gaming Edition by nearly USD 1000, bringing the original price of USD 2149 down to nearly half. And the good news is, this isn’t the only card to see a major price cut.
We all know that the RTX 3090 has been labeled the fastest GPU in the world by NVIDIA. It features a total of 10752 CUDA cores and has a GDDR6X memory of 24 GB. With this number of cores, the card can reach boost clocks of 1890 MHz, while the memory can clock at 21000 MHz with a bandwidth of 1008 GB/s.
With the recent price changes, the RTX 3090 Ti cards were sold in the range of USD 1300 to USD 1500 depending on the deal type or model. This seems to be a pretty hefty discount from the 2000 USD for the Founders Edition. It’s hard to imagine there were days when it was nearly impossible to buy the RTX 3090 Ti and many other similar cards.
EVGA is also discounting the RTX 3090 Ti FTW Ultra Gaming Edition, which is also discounted at USD 1000 to USD 1199. Almost all RTX 3090 Ti models have a price cut of at least USD 500, including the FTW3 Ultra Hybrid Gaming model which also lets you get liquid cooling for just USD 1499 after an instant discount of USD 700.
But even with these discounts and prices, gamers may still want to delay their purchases as we approach the release of the NVIDIA 40 series graphics cards, which are expected to arrive towards the end of this year. We’re surrounded by rumors claiming that the RTX 4080 Ti will rival the heavyweight version of the RTX 3090 Ti. If these rumors are to be trusted and supply continues to be plentiful, buyers will gain a whole lot more power at an even lower price.
Even if it’s not just for the price, some buyers would wait for the unparalleled performance that the RTX 4090 Ti promises. It can come with 18176 CUDA cores with twice as much RAM as 48 GB.
