Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC has some hilarious mods, one of which swaps Spider-Man for everyone’s favorite Muppet.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC offers a lot more flexibility than on consoles.
Whether it’s graphics performance or community mods, players can shape Spidey’s web-slinging adventure however they want on PC.
Now a player went to extremes with a hilarious mod that trades the famous Wall crawler for everyone’s favorite Muppet: Kermit the Frog.
Modder turns Kermit the Frog into Spider-Man for PC
While switching models on Spider-Man PC seems a bit challenging, some great mods have already been made public.
The mod comes from Twitter user TangoTeds which went viral after posting screenshots of their Kermit the Frog mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Their tweet, which featured Kermit hilariously posing in one of Spider-Man’s dynamic loading screen images, garnered over 80,000 likes and 7,000 retweets in just a few days.
The NexusMods.com page has even more screenshots, showing Kermit’s trademark open-mouthed smile as he clings to the side of buildings and shoots webs from his wrists.
While the original post was just meant to be a meme, the overwhelming response forced TangoTeds to release the mod publicly.
While some players might think trading Spidey’s model for Kermit is a fun, easy-to-delete meme, it actually seems more difficult than you might expect.
According to TangoTeds“Texture mods aren’t that hard, but right now, because the modding tools are still early, bringing new models into play is quite a challenge.”

As the community becomes more familiar with Spider-Man Remastered’s modding scene, hopefully players will see even more hilariously misplaced mods appear on PC.
