The Street Fighter 6 beta is here and players have pushed the character creator to the limit in an effort to create the craziest characters they can.
Street Fighter 6 has gone to great lengths to make their game a little more social. Players can communicate with each other outside of just throwing punches. That’s why a character creator has been added to give fans a way to express themselves and customize their appearance.
The Street Fighter Twitter account posted a tweet stating that players would have access to character creation in the closed beta test.
While the vast array of customization options offers players an almost infinite array of possibilities, some of those possibilities are a little intimidating.
Some players come up with chillingly goofy characters that have strange, incredibly unrealistic proportions.
Street Fighter 6’s character creator is a bit too good
Early footage of the Street Fighter 6 beta is filled with all the horrors creative SF6 players can imagine running around in lobbies.
Lobby emotes allow players to perform some of the most Street Fighter’s iconic movesand seeing player-created characters running around throwing Hadoukens at will is certainly a sight to behold.
Not to mention, this is a global phenomenon. Japan is getting as crazy as the US, and beta players are really getting the making the most of character creation. With how many options there are, there’s virtually nothing that’s off the table when it comes to player-created characters.
On the one hand, it’s great to have a ton of options to create your own online avatar. On the other hand, seeing such bizarre characters running around can break a bit of immersion.
Either way, Street Fighter 6’s new social features are exciting for those looking for more ways to interact with their friends and opponents online.
