Apple has started promoting its ‘Far Out’ event, featuring a Twitter hashflag publicize the event.
The hash flag for the September 7 event is a dark blue Apple logo with stars of different colors on the inside. The theme and design are in line with the slogan ‘Far Out’, as are the invitations sent by e-mail.
The Cupertino-based company has started using hashflags since 2020 to build hype and increase visibility on social media platforms.
Apple turned the ‘Far Out’ into an AR element, which can be accessed with an iPhone or iPad. By visiting the AR page, the user can move and interact with the logo. Mac users require a download before they can open it in a supported program.
A YouTube live stream has also been set up as a placeholder for the September 7 event.
