GeForce NOW update adds 14 new games and native support for Apple M1 processor

With GeForce NOW getting an update, Apple users seem to be pretty excited about the upcoming GeForce NOW 2.0.40 update, as MacBooks, iMacs, and Mac Minis can now support the app. Those who have membership gift cards can redeem them for RTX 3080 membership or a Guild Wars 2 Heroic Edition membership reward. In addition, the update allows 14 new game titles to be included in the service.

We can see Amazon’s Lost Arc took the internet of gamers by storm this week. The new MMORPG was released last year and had an average critical score of 81% on Metacritic. It allows the gamers to embark on their own adventure and explore the vastness of Arkesia. PvE and PvP content is available to all players. With the GeForce NOW update, streaming quality up to 1600p is maintained on all MacBooks. As for the iMacs, the stream quality can reach and stay at 1440p.

As part of the new update, the new addition of membership cards is great. Memberships can now be gifted as digital gift cards with various options of two, three or six months. When you redeem a gift card, you are given the choice of an RTX membership or a Priority membership. Customers can choose their plans based on their personal preferences.

Another addition to the update is the Streaming Statistics Overlay for users that enables server-side frame rates. This overlay offers three different modes: Standard, Compact and OFF. They are easy to switch using the Ctrl + N keys. For more convenience, members can login using the same browser tab at play.geforce
