Here are the first rumored performance claims for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti & RTX 4060

According to some recent rumors from @QbitLeaks, NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 series is certainly fast, but requires a lot of power at the same time. The leaker has shared the RTX 40 ‘Lovelace’ specs and performance via Twitter.

It is rumored that the RTX 4060 Ti needs a whopping 270-280W of power to hit a score of 8600 in the 3DMark Time Extreme. On the other hand, the RTX 4060 non-Ti version gets 6000 points with 230 to 240W on the same test. This is quite a lot of power consumption for this class. The famous leaker @kopite7kimi has also claimed that the RTX 4060 requires 220W+ power by default.

According to QbitLeaks, the RTX 4060 Ti can boost up to 2600 Mhz, while the RTX 4060 can reach over 2700 Mhz. The same user tweeted some RTX 4060 series specs. Presumably, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti comes with the AD104-180-A1 GPU and a total of 6144 CUDA cores. This model comes with 10 GB GDDR6 memory clocked at 17.5 Gbps. The TGP listed prior to this new rumor was 275W.

The RTX 4060 non-Ti on the other hand comes with AD106-300 GPU and a core count of 3968 FP32 units. The memory on this has been reduced to 8 GB, which is spread over a 128-bit interface and is clocked at 17 Gbps. These specs are likely to change as we’ve already seen how many changes have been made to the RTX 4070/4080/4090 engineering boards.
