OpTic Gaming is turning back the clock and hosting the first spectator Black Ops 2 LAN tournament in about nine years. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming throwback event.

Call of Duty fans will keep Black Ops 2 in thin air among the franchise’s best titles. Cards such as Raid, Standoff, Slums, and Yemen formed one of the strongest competitive card pools in CoD’s competitive history.

Several of the aforementioned maps were reworked in future CoD titles, demonstrating the game’s long-standing legacy.

The Call of Duty League announced that the 2023 season will begin on December 2. To help fill the void for competitive CoD fans, OpTic Gaming has announced a Black Ops 2 LAN tournament.

We don’t know any official teams yet, but Hitch announced classic OpTic Gaming members return; “Karma,” “Rambo,” “Scump,” “MBoZe,” and “BigTymeR.”

‘Karma’ is the third winning player in CoD history and all eyes will be on him when he returns to the league. ‘BigtymeR’ and ‘Rambo’ worked together on OpTic during Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, and ‘Rambo’ is currently the coach of OpTic Texas.

“MBoZe” is currently a content creator for OpTic and he is known for his time on OpTic Gaming and OpTic Nation CoD teams.
