According to a source quoted by VideoCardz, Intel’s Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards will now launch in “late Q2 or early Q3”. This puts the launch towards the end of June or possibly sometime in July. This appears to reflect Intel’s availability of notebooks powered by Arc Alchemist mobile GPUs as they launched in March, but are not expected to be available until June.
If Intel continues to push the launch date for their desktop graphics cards, they will be out around the same time as AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 series refresh or even NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series graphics cards. When Intel’s discrete graphics cards launch, the lineup will feature up to five SKUs, including the Arc A380, Arc A580, Arc A770 and Arc A780. We can assume that the A780 is the “Limited Edition” SKU. The A770 is expected to have RTX 3060 Ti level performance and is said to have 16GB of storage, although we’ve seen previous rumors that the card would only have 10/12GB.
