Intel’s Upcoming Core i5-1350P CPU Benchmark Shows 6% Performance Gains Over Core i5-1250P

The performance of Intel’s new Core i5-1350P processor for energy-efficient laptops was recently tested for the first time using Geekbench software. Exactly one month after the Core i7-1370P emerged in the same test, this leak came to light. This processor has 12 cores and 16 threads, including 4 Performance Cores and 8 Efficient Cores. The same setup was used for the current generation i5-1250P CPU. The clocks have been moved; the new base clock is 1.9 GHz (+200 MHz) and the new turbo clock is 4.7 GHz (+300 MHz).

The CPU was introduced alongside the Acer TravelMate P614-53 laptop, a lightweight business laptop. Intel’s P-series processors are often used in systems with integrated graphics. Given the absence of the 12th Gen Core P-Series from the official Geekbench rating, it can be difficult to identify a point of comparison. But according to data from Notebookcheck’s tests, the Core i5-1350P is 6% faster in single-core tests and 2% faster in multicore tests compared to its predecessor (Core i5-1250P). Thinner and lighter laptops from companies like Acer are expected to be unveiled soon.

At CES 2023, Intel is expected to introduce its 13th Gen Core P Series next week. In addition, we are now aware of two Intel 13th Gen Core P-Series SKUs.
