Developers recently showed several uses of the Dynamic Island feature on the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro.
A developer turned Dynamic Island into an interactive game. Titled ‘Hit the Island’, the target is somewhat similar to Pong in that the pill-shaped recess turns into a paddle to hit a ball with.
The longer the game lasts, the faster and more balls appear – there is even an animation when the ball hits the island. The game supports non-Dynamic Island phones and devices with the traditional notch.
On the other hand, a developer called Christian Selig has created The Dynamic Island Zoo, an app that interacts with Dynamic Island in an unusual way.
When enabled, a little cat “hangs” around the area, completing various actions as users browse Reddit. It is so customizable that users can change the animal to their preferred animal.
The upcoming iOS 16.1 serves to make improvements to Dynamic Island and add more features.
