Laptops from ASUS and HP with Intel Arc A370M listed for $1400 and $2000

An entire month has passed since the launch of Intel’s Arc 3 series laptops. Surprisingly, however, they are still nowhere to be seen except in stores in South Korea. This may soon change as HP, ASUS and Acer plan to launch their laptops in May. These laptops come with Intel’s new discrete graphics. There is no confirmation of this, but this is what most retailers are speculating.

BestBuy claims that HP and ASUS will launch their 2-in-1 laptops with Intel’s Arc A370m GPUs. These are just entry-level GPUs, but luckily these GPUs are a full ACM-G11 solution with 8 Xe-Cores this time around.

So far, no benchmark results have surfaced regarding the A370M graphics, and this gives us ample reason to believe that Arc Alchemist’s launch was focused solely on one particular laptop and market. It is also suitable for discrete GPU only so far.

Moving on from ASUS, the Zenbook Flip comes with a 15.6-inch OLED panel. It will be launched with a starting price of $1,400. The HP Specter, on the other hand, has a 16-inch touchscreen and costs $2,000. This information may not be of much use at this point, as both laptops aren’t on sale yet, even on BestBuy, and there doesn’t seem to be a tentative delivery date in sight.

It can rightly be said that Acer’s Swift X is priced along with the same tag as that of the ASUS Zenbook. The Swift X was listed in Europe a few weeks ago and the price ranges between EUR 1300 and 1550. The shipping dates have been changed several times for this one, but for now it looks like it’s set for June.

Moving on to the GPUs, Intel’s Arc A370M is the second GPU coming soon. However, the other systems are nowhere to be seen. It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see when the Arc A550M, A730M or A770M systems will be available. Intel has confirmed that SKUs based on the ACM-G10 will be available by the end of June.
