An internal Intel document detailing the “go to market” (GTM) plan for its 13th-generation Core “Raptor Lake” desktop processors has leaked to the web. According to this document, Intel is likely to hold a launch event for its 13th generation Core “Raptor Lake” processors on September 27, 2022 (when it will be September 28 in Taiwan). Of course, this is the same day that AMD’s Ryzen 7000 processors go on sale.
Pre-orders for “Raptor Lake” processors go on sale on October 13, 2022 (or October 14 in Taiwan). This is for online orders only. The processors will be available in stores on October 20 (October 21 in Taiwan).
This document doesn’t mention anything about NDAs for ratings, but we can expect them to go live sometime between September 27 and October 13.
Intel’s upcoming 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” will be built on the same LGA1700 package as the 12th Gen and will be compatible with Intel 600 Series chipset motherboards with a BIOS update. These chips will also be launched alongside new Intel 700 series chipset motherboards.
