Leaked renders of the RTX 4090 Founders Edition show bigger fans

New renders of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition have been leaked to the web by QbitLeaks. This render shows a new design for the reference cooler, which we’ve seen before, but the biggest change is a bigger fan. Based on this render, the RTX 40 Series Founders Edition cards retain most of the design language we saw with the RTX 30 Series.

So you still get the X-shaped frame design, but the fan is noticeably bigger as part of the silver frame has to be removed to make room for the fan.

There was a second leaked render showing the map from a different angle, again we can see the bigger fan. Indeed, looking at the card from this angle, we can confirm that it is a 3-slot card, which is expected for the RTX 4090.

QbitLeaks also posted the alleged benchmark results of an RTX 40 series card, which shows quite impressive performance over the previous generation.

The NVIDIA RTX 4090 is expected to feature the AD102-300 GPU with a total of 16384 CUDA cores with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory.
