Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Leaked
The multiplayer reveal of Modern Warfare 2 is reportedly slated for September.
As Henderson states, CoD games have a history where their multiplayer reveals took place in September, with Black Ops Cold War on September 9, 2021 and Vanguard on September 7, 2021.
That said, it’s not yet known how the multiplayer mode will be revealed and what Activision is up to, but it won’t be long before fans can try the game out for themselves.
According to Henderson’s sources, the Modern Warfare 2 beta will begin in mid-late September. However, the game itself will launch on October 28, 2022.
It is rumored that other major game components, such as ranked play, will be added “shortly after” the game is released.
In any case, expect to learn more about MW2 and its multiplayer in the coming weeks as we prepare for the beta to kick in and the marketing ramps up significantly.
