MSI’s Upcoming TITAN GT77 HX 13V Gaming Laptop Will Feature 4K 144Hz MiniLED Display

MSI has officially stated that next week it will release a new high-end gaming laptop with the fastest high-resolution display. The company confirmed in a press statement that the successor to the TITAN GT77 would be built on the 13th generation Core Intel CPU series with 24 cores.

The only aspect of the new system that MSI can reveal at this point is the new screen, which is also its main feature. The upgraded TITAN GT77 laptop features a 4K 144Hz MiniLED display, which is an improvement over the previous generation’s 4K 120Hz panel.

MSI confirmed that this panel is based on AUO AmLED MiniLED technology and can produce up to 1000 nits of brightness. According to speculation, it will also be DisplayHDR 1000 compatible. This panel contains 1008 dimming zones, which should give excellent results on a 17-inch display. Each panel is “strictly checked” according to MSI, which may mean at least some factory calibration remains.

The official teaser suggests that the only changes made to the HX 13V model will be the display and internal components, as the chassis appears identical to that of the previous generation. This model will also have GeForce RTX 40 mobile GPUs, possibly the best RTX 4090 GPU, according to reports.

MSI confirmed that this laptop will be released at CES 2023 in less than a week. The additional information, such as the battery capacity, is confirmed by the leaked slides; however, the 12th generation model already had similar features.
