Myeongdong Apple Store Officially Opened

Apple has officially opened the doors of the Apple Store to the South Korean public in Seoul.

Myeongdong Apple Store

People got a glimpse of Apple Store Myeongdong in April through teaser images and details. On Saturday, customers lined up to tour the newly opened location and see what the store had to offer in terms of Apple products and Today at Apple sessions.

The launch day was marked by images on social media, with people walking in and buying products. Customers received a commemorative tote bag designed with a graphic Apple logo. Health and safety measures were observed and only a limited number of people were allowed in the store. Customers had to have a booking on the first day of store opening to get in.

A Today at Apple event was held with participants remixing a “Seventeen” song. The two-storey shop has a horizontally supported glass facade by transparent glass riders and is located in the all-new tower of the city.
