A Destiny 2 data miner has revealed three armor sets based on Fortnite characters that will be part of an upcoming collaboration.
Fortnite has collaborated with a plethora of other video games, but they usually involve turning characters from popular franchises into playable Fortnite skins.
We have rarely seen a character from Fortnite step into another video game. Occasionally Jonesy or Peeley team up with Batman and the like. But to play as these characters in a video game, you have to play Fortnite.
However, an upcoming Destiny 2 partnership breaks that mold by bringing Fortnite-inspired armor sets to the popular Bungie looter shooter.
Destiny data miner unveils Fortnite armor
Notable Destiny 2 data miner GinsorKR recently posted an image of three upcoming armor sets. But more importantly, these sets are said to be based on three of the most iconic Fortnite skins.
With the simple caption “Fortnite Destiny confirmed”, the image would show armor sets for each class. Titan would resemble the legendary Black Knight skin. The Warlock would be based on the Drift skin from Season 5. And the Hunter would be inspired by the tier 100 Omega skin.
These will likely be unlocked through sets of limited time challenges or at the end of special missions. And if you know Epic Games, players can expect a new set of cosmetics in the Fortnite item store.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled and clear for when more collaboration details emerge. But until then, check out every crossover and collaboration in Fortnite history.
