NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti listed for same price as canceled RTX 4080 12GB

Retailers in China have received their first shipments of RTX 4070 Ti GPUs and are currently accepting preorders. E-tail platforms such as Taobao and JD have been known to announce the price of next generation GPUs early. Since the Chinese market is largely focused on custom designs, these prices may not always be accurate and may not reflect official MSRP prices.

Since many retailers have now provided the information, it seems that prices for at least some models from Gigabyte, Inno3D and Colorful can now be confirmed. Several sources indicate that the starting price of the RTX 4070 Ti will be 7000 RMB, making it about 25% cheaper than the RTX 4080 16GB when it releases. Prices for custom designs start at 7199 RMB and go up to a maximum of 8399 RMB.

Notably, RTX 4080 can be had on the same platform for just 8,499 RMB (Manli Gallardo), although it is one of the least popular brands. The price of 7200 RMB is almost comparable to what was expected for the RTX 4080 12GB variant before its cancellation. Officially, the list price for the Chinese market was RMB 7,199. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of 4080 16GB was RMB 9499. The RTX 4070 Ti is now available on January 5. Neither the specs nor the price have been officially announced by NVIDIA for these next graphics cards.
