NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 & RTX 4080 16GB/12GB max TGP and GPU clocks leaked

The clock speed for NVIDIA GeForce 40TX 4090 and 4TX4080 16GB/12GB maximum clock specifications are revealed by a leak. NVIDIA RTX 3090 will reportedly have a maximum TGP of 660W. This has been confirmed by multiple sources regarding the upcoming NVIDIA desktop cards.

While the info and specs on the upcoming RTX for GPUs aren’t mind-blowing, the info on Max TGP and boost clocks is something to be excited about.

As for GeForce RTX 4090, this model has an AD102-300 GPU, 16384 CUDA cores and a boost clock up to 2520 MHz. With 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and clocked at about 21 Gbps, it will reach a bandwidth of 1 TB per second, just like the RTX 3090 Ti.

We only have the information about a standard TGP of 450W, but further information shows that the maximum configurable TGP is 660W. Interesting to note that this is the maximum TGB that can be set via BIOS and its availability for all custom models is still unconfirmed.

GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB has AD 103-300 GPU and 9728 CUDA cores. The boost clock is 2505 MHz, which is what RTX 4090 has. This particular model has 16 GB of GDDRX6 memory clocked at 23 Gbps, and currently it is the only model with this much memory clock. The TGP is 340W and can be adjusted up to 516W.

Here is some information about the GE force RTX 4080 12 GB. It is now AD104-400 GPU after last minute name change, with 7680 CUDA cores and a boost of about 2610 MHz. The memory capacity is 12 GB and uses GDDR6X 21 Gbps modules. RTX 40802 TGP is 285W and can go up to 366W.
