NVIDIA CEO Jansen Huang is all set to announce the new H100 series for data centers. There will be a special GTC opening keynote event where the CEO will reveal all the details. Information about the new Hopper GH100 GPU has already leaked ahead of the announcement.
What we already know is that the GH100 is a powerhouse of a GPU with six graphics processing clusters. In addition, there are a total of 144 Streaming Multiprocessors. Earlier in the day, it was also reported that one of the GPCs is slightly different due to its supporting graphics and rendering engine. The new 5nm GPU comes with 6 stacks of high-bandwidth memory. However, we’re not sure yet if all of these six stacks will be used, as full specs aren’t available yet.
NVIDIA is expected to roll out some other products based on this GH100 GPU. These include the DGX H100 Super Pod, the DGX H100 drive and the H100 board based on the SXM for the DGX motherboard. In addition, NVIDIA is also going to announce the PCIe-based H100 model.
