Members of the Overwatch 2 community are calling out Blizzard for the “slow” pace at which they are working on balancing heroes, with many on Reddit expressing frustration at how the game still suffers from major balancing issues months after launch.

As Overwatch 2 enters its first full year on the market, developer Blizzard is hard at work fixing in-game bugs, glitches, and other issues after the game first dropped in October 2022.

“I’m Masters on DPS and I’m tired of going against characters I can’t treat as a full role,” the original post began, before adding, “I can’t match Roadhog, I can’t do anything [against]the. And before anyone says just be good: the reason Masters players play Widow is because she has good character.

Other Overwatch players soon began flooding the thread with suggestions to help rework these balance issues. One user explained how, “we see a lot of widows due to a few factors, her health supply, the limited cards and the horrible matchmaking. If you make the changes you’re proposing, things will go back to the way they were, and Widow won’t be a problem at all.”

Another pointed out how “Genji, Sombra and then Doom and Tracer who are all heavily nerfed after their respective times to shine really add to this as well.” Time will tell how and when Blizzard addresses these Overwatch 2 balancing issues, but we’ll keep you posted on any new developments here.
