When it comes to DDR5, Patriot is launching their Viper Venom DDR5 memory today! The Patriot Viper series has been around for a long time and is known for its performance and reliability. Patriot offers their new Viper Venom series in both RGB and non-RGB versions. Today we take a look at the RGB version which is currently only available in 32GB kits ranging from 5600MHz to 6200MHz. On the test bench we have the PVVR532G620C40K kit, which is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit running at 6200MHz with timings of 40-40-40-76 at 1.35V. Let’s see what this memory is all about!
Special thanks to Patriot for providing the Viper Venom DDR5-6200 32GB Memory Kit for review.
The Viper Venom DDR5 Memory Kit comes in Patriot’s typical retail packaging for memory. On the front is a photo of the memory and a sticker that lets us know the capacity and speed of the kit.
If we flip the package, we have some more information about the kit and there are two small windows in the package so you can check the memory in it.
To get the most out of the box, we have our two memory modules in a clamshell package and a Viper Gaming sticker.
