PCWorld tests the Intel Arc A370M mobile GPU

PC World has once again done the incredible. To access the Arc A370M laptop, it had to enter Intel headquarters. This may have been the only way to access the laptop as it was only available for sale in South Korea. Since its launch on March 30, Intel’s Arc A370M was exclusive to the Korean market only and featured only one design. It’s been almost 5 weeks since launch and we’re still waiting for a reviewer to get their hands on the laptop for testing. This means it’s the best we can get right now.

We can’t help but criticize the way Intel handled the launch, but as time goes on, we’re seeing things get better. There are a few laptop manufacturers on the market that have launched their new systems with the ACM-G11 GPU, something that is not expected at all, especially at this point.

Let’s briefly summarize the specifications of the Arc A370M. It features the full 8 Xe-Cores of ACM-G11 GPU which is combined with a 64-bit GDDR6 memory of 4 GB and has a TGP between 35 and 50 W, making it very similar to the RTX 3050M. The standout factor is that the A370M is as fast as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. They can both deliver the same performance, but only a few games have been tested so far and that’s not enough data to conclude and come to a final word on the performance.
