Pokemon Go players are begging Niantic to return the game’s Team Leader models to their previous outfits now that Fashion Week is over.

Pokemon Go’s Season of Light has had many events so far, such as Halloween 2022 events and Fashion Week.

Many fans will remember that Fashion Week introduced brand new outfits – for Pokemon, trainers and even the game’s three team leaders.

However, not every player has been a fan of each of the team leaders’ new looks, and many have called on Niantic to bring them back to their old costumes now that Fashion Week 2022 is over.

Pokemon fans want old Team Leader outfits back

pokemon go blancheTeam Leader’s redesigns didn’t go down well with many players, especially Team Mystic’s.

Reddit user CompanionMau5 posted on the Pokemon Go subreddit saying, “Fashion week is over, put the Team Leaders models back!”

It seems Blanche’s redesign caused the most consternation, going on to explain that they “can’t look Blanche in the eye anymore” and ask Niantic “for the love of Arceus please change them back…”

The post received more than 1,500 votes in just one day, and numerous trainers gathered to express their support for the change.

“Thank you for bringing this up. It’s been about three weeks now and I’m starting to lose hope they won’t change it back,” said user Repair_Jolly.

It certainly didn’t help that the first impression players got of the redesigns was marred by an admittedly terrifying-looking glitch.

Other trainers decided to theorize why the models haven’t changed, with one suggesting that the new models were just “terrifying Halloween costumes all the time.”

Another said, “I’m convinced they’re impostors from when the professor went through the wormhole,” referencing Professor Willow’s story about setting the season of light.

While some players have said they’re okay with the Spark and Candela redesigns, the vast majority are missing the old Blanche.

Whether Niantic has plans to roll back the team leader’s models remains to be seen, of course. For now, it looks like trainers may just have to get used to these new looks — at least for a little longer.
