Pokemon Go Safari Zone returns in 2022, with the first event taking place in Seville, Spain. Here’s everything you need to know, including dates, times and how to buy tickets.

Safari Zones are a regular feature of the main Pokemon games, and Niantic has brought them over to Pokemon Go so that Trainers in specific cities can join other players in real Safari Zones.

The first Safari Zone of 2022 will take place in Parque del Alamillo in Seville, Spain. There will be Pokemon that embody Hercules, the ghost of the legendary founder of Seville, and real photo opportunities.

Pokemon Go Safari Zone 2022 Schedule

Here are all the Pokemon Go Safari Zone events currently scheduled for 2022:

As you can see, there is currently only one Pokemon Go Safari Zone event scheduled for this year, and it’s taking place in Seville. It is the first event of this kind in Spain.

There were three separate Safari Zone events in 2021 taking place in Liverpool, Philadelphia and St. Louis, so more could be announced soon. We will keep this page updated if that happens.

How much do Pokemon Go Safari Zone 2022 tickets cost?

A regular ticket to the Pokemon Go Safari Zone in Seville, Spain, costs €21while an early entry ticket for the same event costs €26† PokeCoins cannot be used to purchase these tickets.

Regular tickets give you access to the gameplay every day from noon to 6pm, while early access tickets give you access to the game every day from 9am to 6pm.

What Happens During Pokemon Go Safari Zone Events?

Trainers who purchase a ticket to the Pokemon Go Safari Zone: Seville event can enjoy features throughout the weekend, including a Special research assignment and boosted Pokemon spawns

There will also be “cool prizes” offered for fight with your fellow trainers at the event – although there is no information on what they could be at the moment – and a chance to meet your favorite creators

Finally, you can enjoy several real-world features that aren’t directly tied to gameplay, including: fun photo opportunities with Pikachu and Eeveeofficially merchandiseand Team lounges

All of these Pokemon have the potential to be Shiny except Deerling, Ocorio, and Unown E, so good luck finding them!

Shiny Corphish debuts at Seville Safari Zone

Shiny Corphish appears in Pokemon Go Safari Zone

Shiny Corphish has been confirmed to make its debut at the Pokemon Go Safari Zone: Seville event! If you are lucky, you may encounter this rare variant when hunting Pokemon in the wild.

All the details haven’t been announced yet, but previous Safari Zone events had special 2km egg hatches, Pokemon attracted to incense, and exclusive field research tasks to enjoy.
