Portal with RTX launched on December 8

NVIDIA has officially released the launch date for Portal with RTX. Of course, this is a remaster of Valve’s very popular game. NVIDIA promoted this title quite a bit at the launch of the RTX 40 series in September. The remaster of the game is free as DLC for all Portal owners. The game supports the latest DLSS 3.0 technology which is fully supported by RTX 40 series GPUs, but don’t worry, the game also supports DLSS 2.0 for all RTX owners.

For those who want full ray tracing support at 4K resolution, NVIDIA recommends the just-released RTX 4080 graphics card, while you can play at 1080p/60 FPS with RTX 3080 series cards and mid-range cards like the RTX 3060 with support for DLSS 2.0 should achieve a minimum of 30 FPS at 1080p.

NVIDIA is hosting a live stream on December 6th, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Portal with RTX with new gameplay reveals, Portal game code giveaways, and a chance to win a GeForce RTX 4090!
