At the last minute, ConcernedApe has delayed Stardew Valley’s highly anticipated 1.5 update on mobile platforms.

ConcernedApe originally rolled out the 1.5 patch in late 2020 for Stardew Valley PC users. In February 2021, the update was launched for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

So the title’s Android and iOS user base has been waiting a long time for 1.5 to become available on the platform of choice.

Earlier this month, the developer told fans about its commitment to rolling out the update to mobile devices before the end of this year. However, the wait is only a few days.

The content is more or less complete and the developer says it can go live “right now”. But the crew would rather “take another week to ensure quality”.

As such, Stardew Valley 1.5 will not appear on Android and iOS devices by the end of 2022 as promised before.

Mobile users will have plenty to look forward to when Stardew Valley 1.5 finally arrives in the next few days.

The update on PC and consoles introduced a series of new additions in the form of events, new items, the Ginger Island region, and previously unseen enemy types.

While some may be disappointed with the delay news, it’s worth remembering that ConcernedApe has also been hard at work on Haunted Chocolatier.
