Dropping gas masks can come in handy to help your teammates in a difficult spot.
Warzone streamer Metaphor revealed new details about Warzone 2, including Highrise, no more gas and more.
Leaked internal Activision Blizzard documents pointed to a November 16 release date for Warzone 2.
We’re still months away from getting Warzone’s highly anticipated sequel, but leaks have scattered bits and pieces of information.
In August, Metaphor claimed, “I’ve seen the gameplay of Multiplayer/DMZ/Warzone 2 and can confirm that it looks visually beautiful. The buildings are more detailed inside and the movement is more grounded.”
Metaphor revealed more information and revealed AI bots, the return of Highrise, storm changes and other fundamental gameplay features.
It is worth noting that all leaks are unconfirmed and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Quickscope montages may be back on the menu when Highrise returns.
Warzone 2 Leak Reveals New Gameplay Details
Metaphor tweeted a laundry list of new features coming to Warzone 2.
What is immediately noticeable is that the gas is replaced by a dust storm.
Gas has been a staple of Warzone since launch, and players have finally received a much-anticipated feature to turn gas masks on and off.
Fifakill played an extraordinary feat in the storm to win the $100,000 World Series of Warzone 2022 Solo Yolo event, but that feat may not be possible in Warzone 2.

The Modern Warfare 2 reveal trailer in June hinted that the fan-favorite original MW2 map Highrise is returning.
Metaphor says Highrise’s helicopter would be usable, seemingly confirming the original screenshots.
Mark Grigsby, Animation Director at Infinity Ward, previously confirmed that NPCs will “provide an interesting and engaging experience” for Call of Duty players.”
Backpacks of different sizes are a new piece of information and can shake up the Warzone 2 meta. The streamer alluded to container-based looting and floor loot, but didn’t mention loadout drops.
Call of Duty’s next major news drop is Call of Duty Next on September 15.
