Warzone 2 introduced a backpack system, but some community members believe players are abusing the new feature by stacking self-revives.

Looting and inventory management are always hot button issues for battle royale titles. It’s an ongoing battle for developers trying to create the perfect system. Warzone 2 takes notes from PUBG and displays a loot menu when interacting with a duffel bag or medical briefcase.

Players have blasted the “counter-intuitive” looting system and shared a similar sentiment for the new backpack feature. Warzone 2 allows players to store items such as meds, ammo, cash, gadgets, and kill streaks in medium or large backpacks.

Backpacks change the way players go about managing their resources, but some believe it led to exploitative practices. There is currently no limit to the number of kill streaks or self-revives a player can carry, resulting in unnecessarily annoying assignments.

Warzone 2 players criticize over-reliance on self-revival

A Reddit user shared a clip of a player winning a Warzone 2 match, mainly because they were able to self-revive more than one.

The tool allows plays to revive themselves after being knocked down without the help of a teammate.

One player replied, “Self-revival must be equipped like the stim gun and gas mask to be used. If you have extra with you, it’s only for sharing and not reviving indefinitely.”

A second user added: “Actually, I think the game would be better off without reviving itself… You can come back via gulag, buyback, and jailbreak, plus every third medicine cabinet contains a self-revive. I’d be genuinely surprised if I kill someone who has no self-reliance.’

Community members responded that self-revives are essential for solo games, as players don’t have the option to be revived by teammates.

However, it is clear that a majority of users in the Reddit thread believe that there should either be a reduction in the number of lootable auto-generations or a limit on the amount players can carry.
