Warzone guru TrueGameData has revealed the “best SMG” gear in the game after Season 4’s surprising reloads.
Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded brought a lot of changes to the game. However, just a few days later, a surprising patch further nerfed a large number of weapons. As noted by Raven Software itself, recent additions to the submachine gun class have been “dominant.”
With the goal of reopening the short-range meta, the developers had to make the necessary changes in the August 3 update, improving the Armaguerra 43, Marco 5, and the H4 Blixen.
Luckily for players, TrueGameData is back with you, with the best SMG gear for running after the nerfs.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded kicked off on July 27, but a surprise patch followed on August 3 that further nerfed SMGs.
In an August 5 YouTube video, TrueGameData, known by the community as a gun stat guru, showed the best gear for the current short-range meta.
His list includes a few ARs, but SMGs are still dominant when it comes to close range firefights. Breaking down his picks, the YouTuber explained how he believes a weapon’s TTK is super important when it comes to close range compared to the importance of recoil.
Taking that into account, TrueGameData finally decided that despite its nerfs, the Armaguerra 43 is the best SMG to get the job done. That is if you use the right attachments.
Armaguerra 43 Is Warzone’s “Best SMG” In Season 4 Reloaded
In the video, the Warzone guru gave several options when it comes to the Armaguerra 43. If you’re a fan of low recoil, high strafe speed then sticking to the gear shown below is your best bet.
- End of a loop: Recoil Booster
- walk: Imerito 550mm D3P
- optics: Slate reflector
- stock: Imerito TA Skeletal
- underflow: SG98 Compact
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 72 Round Stomachs
- Ammunition: Subsonic
- rear handle: Grooved Grip
- advantage 1: Vital
- Extra 2: At hand
Depending on how you prefer to play, you can swap the attachments to your liking, so adjust it to your liking.
If fast TTK and getting close to your opponents sounds like your style, it might be worth swapping the Imerito 550mm barrel for the Botti 315mm.
If you’re a fan of good strafe speed, swapping out the bottom barrel for the Mark VI Skeletal, the Rear Grip for the Taped Grip and the Stock for the Imerito SA Folding will serve you well.
In the end it will definitely be worth it to run TGD’s suggested Armaguerra 43 gear, but take your time and find what suits you best.
