Warzone Gurus JGOD & TrueGameData Explain Why “Melee Lunge” Doesn’t Exist

Warzone experts JGOD and TrueGameData have responded to community calls to ignore melee lunge by saying it’s not possible to fix something that doesn’t exist.

There are many different Warzone analysts in the scene, but none are more trusted than those from JGOD and TrueGameData.

These two usually define the pro weapon meta, find secret changes and give tips to improve a player’s gameplay. Now they stop a long community cry, where players ask for melee lunge to be suppressed,

If you’ve spent any time in Warzone, then you’ve certainly had your share of “unfair” melee kills. Lunging has been a big complaint since Warzone came out. From countless phone calls to repairing the damage to the ground it covers, players have been vocal, but their request cannot be granted.

JGOD & TrueGameData Stop Rumors Of Melee Lunge

In response to a Twitter clip in which a player demanded that Raven Software “nerf melee lunge”, JGOD laughed at the victim when he said it doesn’t exist in Warzone.

JGOD simply called this “desync”. For people who might not know, desynchronization happens when the game doesn’t register where you are on the map. This can happen due to internet connection or server problems.

However, if it does happen, you will find that it seems as if you are very far away from someone doing the “lunge”. But in reality, you’re syncing for them on their side, so it looks normal.

It’s a known issue with cameras in Warzone as explained by JGOD, there are many instances of desync in the game leading to unusual firefights. This causes people to be beaten despite being far away.

Melee Warzone

In Warzone, players complain about melee lunging, but it’s just desync.

Fellow Warzone expert TGD stepped in and back to JGOD by saying, “I’m glad someone understands. He sees people complaining about this “glitch” every day, but realistically it’s a desync issue that can’t be fixed in an update.

Overall, the two agreed that melee lunge isn’t broken in Warzone, just that the game has desync issues, making it seem like melee is the problem when it’s actually desync.
