A Warzone pro has disappeared from the internet after seemingly berating himself for using cheats during the $100k Warzone World Classic tournament.

While many of the issues surrounding cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone originated in public matches, some players have managed to avoid detection and get them into lucrative online tournaments.

Given that many of these tournaments are streamed to thousands of viewers, many of these potential cheaters have been exposed and ultimately ruined their reputation as one of the best players around. Some have even slipped up and flaunted their cheats while trying to keep them a secret.

In the run-up to the event, which kicked off on December 6, a handful of players have signed up posted clips of Exoniz’s gameplay to social media, in an attempt to alert the tournament organizers of their suspicions.

The player was eventually allowed to compete, but during the tournament he attempted to refute the claims by showing his monitor to viewers on Twitch.

But when I moved the monitor, a menu appeared in the middle of the screen. The Turkish rep claimed it was just a glitch because he has multiple monitors, but others were quick to point out that it was much more like a cheat menu than the display configuration.

As the clip went viral on Twitter, the streamer shut down his Twitch stream and removed the VOD. However, both his Twitter and Twitch accounts have since been deleted.

Exoniz’s pre-tournament teammate, forpantheonn, initially defended him against the claims, but eventually apologized. “I was shocked and immediately blocked him. I’m sorry for everything,” he tweeted.

The tournament has one day left to run, but Turkey appears to have been disqualified as their results are now read as a completely clean run of losses.
